What are you putting this mix in? I'm going to be trying a mix in a 925A2 soon, or is this a deuce?

I use gas. Haven't noticed any separation problems. I want to cut the oil's viscosity as much as possible.

It is on the right side of the truck just forward of the pump, mounted to the aft bracket that holds the passenger side step. Got one of the push-pull cables that lead from the cab attached the forward side at the spool valve.

Anybody got something to share on shims? Pretty sure that is the problem but would like some input about what shims were used. Toe is already set slightly positive.

I recently put 11.00X20 radials on the deuce. It rides smoother for sure, but has the same symptoms that others have noted: a poor return to center and a squirrely feel to the steering. The steering system is tight so it's not a parts issue. I'm pretty sure it is a caster problem. As in there...

You might need to pull a vacuum on the system to get all of the air out of it. Couldn't get mine to work worth spit. Was humming and jerky in the assist. Hooked a vacuum pump up to it and Voila! All is well. Did take another quart of fluid though.

I was using this thread to help find out why my truck quit. It was losing prime sitting still and would cut off idling in the driveway. I got a schrader valve and added it to the fuel cap, put a little pressure on the system and found this hole on the bottom side of the filter that was added...

Tim, it's not clear in this thread whether or not you got the drive shaft you need. Did you get ahold of one? I am home through Sunday so I can pull that shaft. Need any other A1 parts? Once I get the winch and associated pieces, the tires (11x20) for my deuce, and whatever bits and pieces...

What is the difference in the shaft length? Longer, shorter, how did you solve it?

Sorry. The bolt in part in the center of the cab against the firewall. They are different in the A2 because of the different engine.

That is exactly what I am doing with two five tons. It looks like the differences may be with the control towers inside the truck and the length of the cables. Fortunately I am using the cab from the older model including the doghouse so those issues should be ok. If you can, get the doghouse...

@Wildchild: Yup to the WMO. Thinned it 80/20 with gas and it works just fine.
