I do not fully understand all the insides of the HH, but I do know if the fuel is turned up too much, it will crack that screw on the side of the head.
But your leak is under the plate, so my idea will not help.
The leak is coming from the Screw on the right side of the plate. It probably cracked between the hole in the side and the end or the threads....it is really hard to see. Back off your fuel some.
It is a 3/4 pipe plug.
Edit....Pics added...Yes that is the keeper hole. Rear seal.
Edit again....The transmission will leak there also if it has too much fluid.

3 feet below where?
At the most the IP is 18 inches above the bottom of the fuel tank.
Good Luck.
I am Out.
The Truck will run without the lift pump, if the primary filter will pass enough fuel for the IP.
Yes, Your lift pump may be bad....but that is not where your air is coming from.
Do your same test on the tank side of the Primary filter and see what you come up with.
Is the bottom of your primary filter indented? Or is the nut protruding? If it is indented, someone has tightened it up too much and it will not make a good seal. I know this from experence....I did it to mine chasing an air leak. Primary filter always gets a new square ring. I went 1...

Did you replace the primary filter gasket?
This is not a trick answer....What Will and I have said is usually the problem.
The injector pump pulls fuel and pressurizes it to the secondary filters, and then pressurizes it to the injectors.
If the injector pump wants more fuel, than that which...
