Pardon my thread jack, Did all of the civvy trucks with radios have those speaker mounts behind the seats in the corners? I put in a custom stereo and only have the front tweeters and subs in right now. Having some nice mid brackets that would drop right in would be great. I never noticed behind...
There not very fast. However, I understand where your coming from. My m1008 wont pull a steep hill at 50 with the pedal to the floor. She's pretty slow especially when loaded. I'd like to see if the injection pump needs turned up after all these years of wear, but your pretty much going in blind...
Nice! Death wobble sucks. I still have it on my truck after replacing the king pin bushings and the steering stabilizer.... At the last rally i realized my front right tire was bald. Im guessing my tie rod ends are destroyed. Good luck with the wobble and welcome back to ur OD addiction!
If its cold out, expect it too smoke some at startup. I have a feeling my glowplugs are on their way out and when it gets down in the low teens she knocks and smokes pretty good for a minute. I view it as a nice feature. The other day I was stuck in a parking lot in traffic at school and this...
hmmmm I don't think I have gotten mine to ever squeal the tires. I wonder if my pump needs a bump. I will say it does drift nicely in rainy weather hahaha
I don't think they've posted anything about dates. It will be cool to do some wheelin again. Don't worry about the rust. If it gets used like your last blazer they'll make awesome drain holes :D
I've gotten my m1008 up to 75mph once and I'm not gonna lie I was a little concerned it was roaring to say the least. I did it once to beat a minivan lol.
note to self: m1008 not race car
Yea the bottom line is 10 bolts are considered junk in most of the offroad community short of going into very lightweight rigs. So no offroad companies really want to make a lot of aftermarket parts for it.
I know it was fixed that's why I said it was back. Its not really an issue I was just curious to the state of the situation. I look forward to any forum updates
Hey guys, I've noticed as of late the hack that had previously affected the forum is back. When I click steel soldiers say off of google half the time I get redirected to that fraudulent page. Anyone else having problems? I already dumped my cache and cookies.
