    Found the ground wire laying on top of the intake near where the neg cable bolts on. Grounded the wire , 8 new glowplugs, a GP relay, by-passed the resistor and it cranks up like a dream.:-P

    Lights in bumpers...broken wires...

    If the lights are functional you can use a dremel tool to grind around the wires and resolder them. A lighted magnifying glass helps. It can be done but it is tricky. Its already broke so why not try it?

    You can make the belts stand up if the plastic sheath is not busted up too bad. I cut a piece of plastic from an old mud flap I had lying around the shop. Remove the belt from the truck.     The wire is for the brake proportion valve . It plugs into a bracket on the frame and then to the proportion valve which is under the radiator.

    I agree ,if you buy one at auction it's a gamble. If you buy from an individual at least you can test drive it and hopefully have a clear title. Also the price should reflect are you going to have to fix somethings or just put fuel in it and drive it away.:driver:

    The radiator in mine sprung a leak and wasn't repairable . I ordered one from my parts supplier and they sent me one that is all aluminum. Looks like something for a hotrod.8-)
