What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Ive got El Guapo and Bunny. My trucks seem to have their own identity, which leads to their self given names. I guess I need to add some pictures lol This is El Guapo the daily driver 1008 and here is Bunny the trailer queen.

    hmmwv takeoffs

I have sold hundreds of the takeoff tires. People are getting good wear out of them and good life. Some are asking for more in a few weeks. It comes down to the previous life of the tire, shelf time of the tire, and general age of the tire. If it's older than 10 years, you probably have trouble...

D60 oil change and more !

Look into lubelocker gaskets. I like them, especially for you're extreme duty or frequent service intervals. Otherwise it's just nice to have a clean seal surface every time it's opened.

Not another NV4500 swap thread... Well, sort of...

The shifter setup I recommend is from ORD. I added a 203 in between the nv4500 and 205 so I have an extra stick but they come out just forward of the end of the nv4500 adapter. I made my own trans shifter but I don't believe the tcase shifter would interfere with anything.

    Fuel tank sending unit

So I found this thread a little after I found a huge puddle of diesel on the asphalt. What is this line and why does it have fuel coming out of it. Seemingly spontaneous. Maybe related: filled it up a few days ago.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Those are the the odds and ends left. I will be trimming the front fang off the fender completely leaving only a few inches under the core support. Then I will trim as necessary on the back side. Just a little. This is just going to be a truck to enjoy driving and not go overboard. Which leads...

    Leaf spring eye bolts ???

Any 73-87 gm 3/4 and 1 ton had 56 rear springs. Very easy to find in the yards still. New replacements are also available. Your local spring shop will be able to rebuild your pack as well.

    Leaf spring eye bolts ???

Just go by the size and use this chart. It's industry standard. https://www.boltdepot.com/fastener-information/bolts/US-Recommended-Torque.aspx

    I hate you GM

dodge kingpin 60 rotors are thinner and share the same calipers. there is a small chance you acquired dodge pads instead.
