Ive got El Guapo and Bunny. My trucks seem to have their own identity, which leads to their self given names.

I have sold hundreds of the takeoff tires. People are getting good wear out of them and good life. Some are asking for more in a few weeks. It comes down to the previous life of the tire, shelf time of the tire, and general age of the tire. If it's older than 10 years, you probably have trouble...
Look into lubelocker gaskets. I like them, especially for you're extreme duty or frequent service intervals. Otherwise it's just nice to have a clean seal surface every time it's opened.
The shifter setup I recommend is from ORD. I added a 203 in between the nv4500 and 205 so I have an extra stick but they come out just forward of the end of the nv4500 adapter. I made my own trans shifter but I don't believe the tcase shifter would interfere with anything.
So I found this thread a little after I found a huge puddle of diesel on the asphalt.
What is this line and why does it have fuel coming out of it. Seemingly spontaneous.

Those are the the odds and ends left. I will be trimming the front fang off the fender completely leaving only a few inches under the core support. Then I will trim as necessary on the back side. Just a little.

Any 73-87 gm 3/4 and 1 ton had 56 rear springs. Very easy to find in the yards still. New replacements are also available. Your local spring shop will be able to rebuild your pack as well.
the is my favorite combination that does very well offroad and isnt as jarring as the stock pack. can still handle a load too. its been a while but i think it was every other one removed.
