Yes sir it's running. Heat shrinked the spliced connectors, and tomorrow will courtesy wrap the bundle then weatherproof it additionally with a butyl wrap A big thanks to Will and Juan for the parts to make this happen. Next item on the list for this M998: fan clutch stays engaged. Ugh

I have a set of the 12' NATO jumpers as well, but had some new NATO slave receptacles gathering dust in the garage so I made up a longer jumper that's 25 ft long. It's nice for the longer reach but it sure is heavy to lug around since I used 1 0/ cable

I finally took a few minutes during lunch to clean the receptacle up before wiring in the replacement connector, it was heavily corroded on the threads. Used a brush and some NoOx. The receptacle threads look bad in places. I may be spending time with a small file to make the threads usable again.

What happened to all the auctions?

If you drive 1-30 between Texarkana and New Boston, GP has an off post storage field with an assortment of 5 tons and SEEs, you can kinda see it from the highway if you're looking. I took the service road a while back to have a looky lou drive by, and those vehicles are overtaken by briars and...

What happened to all the auctions?

Red River allows previews if you call ahead. If you go with the attitude everything will be less than pristine you won't be as disappointed . Some are close to being re-claimed by mother earth, others are like the one FLUFarm won. Non runners are a gamble though

When I let my wife drive my 5 ton, all the sudden it was hers and I had to buy another one, same thing happened with the 998. Be careful, unless you have a big checkbook . Happy B Day to your lovely wife

    SEE will not start

Have you tried starting the SEE using a screwdriver across the starter solenoid posts? If it cranks, the problem is most likely somewhere else

Sold my SEE I kept up at our mountain place this weekend. Kinda sad to see it go but it has a good home with the VFD up on the mountain. I wish I had a video of those guys with the VFD trying to operate it for their first time. It was a real treat
