The M1031 has all that the Apecs 4500 needs for inputs. There is a magnetic pickup on the PTO for rpm sensing. It has an actuator to drive the throttle. There is a safety circuit through the transmission shifter linkage, the transfer case shifter has a switch to ensure it in neutral.

Well, after a long day at school, including a field trip for the Vetparade, I took some time to disassemble (again) the top of the engine. I found the culprit, it was me. I missed a spot with the rtv.
Now to find two more evenings or a Saturday to clean it all up and put it back together.

Somebody help me out, do the transmission lines go behind the oil pan and then forward on the drivers side of the oil pan to the radiator?
Based on your original post, it sounds to me that without the opposing pull of the passenger side alternator that the water pump shaft is getting pulled toward the drivers side causing the belts to slip. Your original idea of moving the drivers side alternator and wiring to the passenger side...
Today has been a good day. After several months of doing little things at a time resealing the engine, trans and transfer, I have finally started putting the truck back together. Engine and trans went back in today.
