If you decide to make one or something similar let me know. The brackets and straps to hold the tube up and to the exhaust I have a box full of, I will give you what you need.
The four inch bracket is nylon and the strap is stainless steel and it works great for this purpose.

Ok here goes the rant. I will continue to use second as I have, if it breaks I will fix it. The most beautiful thing about this country is we all have the freedom to do as we see fit. Yes the manual calls for first gear starts but the authors of the manual have to take into account all variables...
I am very glad they worked for you. And yes I got a sick pleasure out of throwing mine away as well. Post pics when you can of them painted I haven't painted mine yet.
I also do not sit at lights with my foot on the clutch. Second gear is 9 out of 10 right there no problem the other 1 I go to third then right into second.
