I ordered parts from Kraft Power in Pompton Plains, NJ. Their website has a in depth parts list on our engine, Lister Petter modle# LPW2. If you are looking for a secondary fuel filter assembly # it is 284359. I received my order in three days.
Good for you bookpile. These did not come with instructions, but there is all you want to know and much more in the TM's. Once the unit starts, you must flip the toggle on the front panel marked (AC circuit interrupter to CLOSE) this will relay power to the terminal board. The Operating...
The facility is overwhelmed from all the individual sales. We could not get an appointment for pick-up this week. I bought a low priced parts unit for repairs (if needed). I studied every unit, and made meticulous notes on nearly every unit. It paid off. I was out pushing snow and the wife was...
Congratulations on the start up. When I started ours, I told my 6 yr son to get back a little. (he hid behind a skid steer). When it fired off, he came out and gave me a high five. When I showed the wife the second start up, I went up for high five and she left me hanging with a tilted head and...
Hey, neighbor! Then you know were Dinosaur Land is. We are just a couple minutes from there. But of coarse everyone in White Post is a couple minutes from there.

It seems like we are at least 40 min. from nearly everything. I have family in Warrenton. These MEP's are great in our area, because when the power goes, so does the water.
Well, that truly is a disappointment. My ace in the hole, was the non availability of all the other parts of the GEN. If our unit turned out to be a dud, striping and selling would have been next. Parting things out, is often better then one would think (if they have the patients).
Right!! I relate to your style, but perfect would be blacked out. BTW I'm certain you have used your sig. handle (user I.D.) for many years, before joining here. I know we are in good company.
After my research on this forum before and after our purchase, I was confident there would be no total loss in the gamble. The first thing I did was grab the fan blade and give it a check for movement. The engine turned, so I had no worries of a seize up. Had it been locked, I would have went to...
I'm on this site researching a MEP-802a before purchasing. Thanks to the members here, I jumped in. Now I'm going to try to find a 002. I hope this stuff doesn't get addicting.
Sounds like you bought from the same batch I did. We picked up ours, and after a like work replacing the consumables plus a little extra, it runs. Let me know if you source a spin on adapter to take the place the secondary filter. Enjoy
Thanks, I will get a housing from them. I made one today out of 2 1/2 o.d. exhaust pipe. I just had to hear if it would fire off. Bingo! I let it run, checked for issues, so far so good. I will spend more time on it Monday. This sites members helped a lot with the manual and operation links...
