Very talented young man, and a very creative solution to your problem. I hope that he gets a few wheels to do for some spending money. Nice to see a solution that did not use those tacky things sold at most auto parts stores. Lucky for me, all it took was.some of that Orange cleaner for my...
For a good one, expect it to be $1000 to $1500. Those that have them for sale know what they have... If you find one for less, better take a very good look at it.
Welcome to Steel Soldiers. Since you are in NC, you should check out http:WWW/cmvpa.com they are a great bunch of local guys that are very active in the area.
It looks like you have answered your own question.
However, that said, it appears that those other.two moderators disagree with you. As do I. Should he have posted his request in the classified.section? There is always a bit of a grey area in enforcing the rule.to keep all classified forum...
If your.flasher does not work, you can always add a load resistor and it will work like it is supposed to.
Just.measure the resistance of each light module replaced, buy the closest load resistor.you can find to your measurement, and put it in parrell with each of the new LED modules. This...
Note, be very careful.in choosing weather to use "Goof Off" or "Goo Gone". The.first.removes paint, but does a.terrible job removing adhesive. The second is great with adhesive removal, but not paint. Also, the.first.will melt plactic pretty quick.
Ask me how I know this... oops!
Fuel gauges normally work with a potentiometer that varies the resistance to the voltage that drives the gauge. Not reading full when it full-less.than full is.likely.bad.connections. That can most often be resolved by cleaning all of your connections. On the other hand, if the gauge reads...
Perhaps a plan to achieve the same thing could be.done there in Overland Park would work. Do a bit of brainstorming to come up with a plan with a few.other MV folks and figure out a.way to get them to allow a.series of violations of the.ordinance that are well documented. Then, go after them...
I have had business dealings with a few companies in Overland Park. To say that they are.pretentious would be quite the understatement. Delusions of grandeur. Not likely to fix this problem there.
However, about 20 years ago my father lived in one of those fancy gate communities that had all...
I live in NC and have an A3. When I registered it, which was some what of an ordeal since it does not have a 17 digit VIN, they gave me the option of a regular car/light truck tag. (I was required to sign a wavior that I couldn't read the fine print-didn't have the reading glasses). Now, I...
If you insist on doing it.with that material, at.the least I'd trash the shackles (they are ruined anyway). Then bend and box in both sides of the mounting foot to resemble the military design. You could perhaps use the shackle pins, if properly spaced. Even then, it is too light for me to...
I really don't think that welding on a shackle like that, and depending on it to be reliable is.a.good idea. Have seen several mods like that fail in a most spectacular way. Those welds have a tendency to crack if.not.properly heat treated. That material.will.cool too fast.and be.brittle...
Ok. here it is for you guys that think a Wann 18K electric winch is just too small to use on a deuce: M916 45k hyd. winch - Steel Soldiers::Military Vehicles Supersite lets see you put your $ where your mouth is. I'd be more inclined to put this monster on a 5 ton or bigger.
