YO!! MikeD!! check your glow plugs, If you have a multimeter set it to ohms and put one lead on the tang where the glowplug connector goes and the other lead on the side of the plug "the part the wrench socket goes over" it should read about .8 to 1.6 ohms if the meter doesn't change at all...

with a three speed auto third gear is a 1 to 1 ratio which means the transmision output roughly matches the engine rpm, (engine @1000 rpm the tranny in third gear will be spinning the driveshaft @1000rpm) the optimal engine rpm for the 6.2 diesel at 60mph should be between 1800 to 2800rpm...

If you do any kind of off roading then you may want to look into getting a highlift jack I mounted mine at the bottom of the rear cab wall behind the seat, there was alread one hole cutout I guess for the radio or shelter unit :redface:

When I got my m1028 from the military It had the newer type 7digit milage odometer, which read 11,500. I have noticed that even after putting 35" tires on the spedo still reads about 10-15 mph faster than my actual speed, has this happened to anyone else or do you know how I can fix it??
