Md to Ma thats a straight shot on some of the worst roads on the east coast. If you have a failure in one of those highly congested areas, on Rt 95, even at slower speeds it can turn real nasty real quick.

Take the drivers side isolated ground alt and install it on the pass side. Get the 100a alt, case ground, for the drivers side. Order the rebuild kit fron cucv electric and rebuild yours as a spare.

Amsoil synthetic, I have used it on watercooled grinders that run 8hrs a day,6days aweek, one is over 30 yrs old. Where ever the is grease, no wear, no rust.

If the Ignition is locked probably won't be able to shift to neutral, if it's 4wd the transfercase can be put in neutral.
I don't see the resistor on the fire wall and no second alternator so it probably is 12v.
Other opinions can vary.
