never seen a water cooled turbo hsg. all i,ve seen is oil lubed and cooled. uglytruckling makes engine adapter kits for m37's with v-8's. M37 V8 conversion

6.2's are very problem prone thats why gm got away from them. had to beat a good stock sbc for a m715 swap

They dont have "soft" cams. The oil line that fed the top of the engine was bad........

You might want to take temps on the head at each exhaust port with a laser temp gauge and make sure all are aprox same temp. And a 4bt in a willys wagon really needs 3.08 gears imo. It will have plenty of power in that light vehicle imo looks good pal. Bob
