just some general clarification on your questions. The reservoir needs to be big enough to have a 1 minute run time capacity, so in the case of the 920 it is a parallel pump producing a total of 44 gmp which is why the reservoir is 50 gallons with 44 gallon full mark. I agree that you should...
I hate to say it cause I am usually all in on crazy stuff like that but before I cut and stretched a very capable dual framed truck and make it single purpose I would just buy that expansive trailer shown earlier and tow it. You have the platform on front for any toys you may need, you can...
One thing for sure, this thread was for Soni so I will bow out a bit and turn it over to him since I am still a huge fan of his truck and his abilities as well.
Andy is correct there are auxiliary ports on the 916-920 for adding an additional circuit. You will want to check and see what the demand is for the crane to make sure. My National is bigger than the wayjax and only requires 14 gpm, now I modified the stock pump and took out one of the halves...
Its funny that you say that because after re looking at the form 97 that is exactly the case. I just told the DMV that I paid what they paid and they could not prove any different. I cannot believe the profit GL is making, what a racket.
its kinda funny, when I say the picture of your truck with the front wheels dished out the song "all my friend drive a low rider" popped into me head. Well, at least I thought it was funny.
Sounds like a near perfect combination, I look forward to your input on the conversion, things like does it bolt in? How many hammers did I throw in the field during the process!!:mrgreen:
Well the good news is that as of the 1-1-2011 the trucks are now officially 30 full years old which means "Collector Vehicle Status". Now that may work in my state but may not in others. I registered it as a cargo instead of truck, and I had to insure it as a commercial for $28 month through...
nope that is another thing, location is key, I live in the great northwest and I flew to Ft Polk La and drove it back. Total expense including fuel and airfare for two was right around $7500 which was a smokin deal when I bought mine. I think that these trucks being in the know makes dealers...
As Promised at least I hope this link works.
Information found here.
This particular pump is explained under the "international DT466" section with links on timing, fuel etc and a great description of the pump.
I agree with Mudguppy, unless there is a significant financial gain from doing this swap I would try to rat hole it away for a keeper project.
As for the pump there is no "fuel plate" at all. I will try to find the youtube video that shows how to adjust the fuel rate for that pump.
bid on everything and hope one sticks.. I was bidding on 6 when I won mine, if figured that who ever was bidding against me got soo sick of me that they just let me have one. And yes it was the very last one not to have been closed on the auction that I won and surprisingly the cheapest of the...
arm...rod...foot... you knew what I meant:wink: on the 8.3 pump above there are two allen heads and some nuts that have to be loosened and adjusted below the caps. The rest of the pump is essentially the same. The reason I wanted to point out the difference is the TST kit mentioned above will...
