The batteries are good, I went over them twice.

The only cable that I remember removing (and reinstalling) was a ground strap on the bell housing. The wiring to the switch itself wasn't loose and the switch FELT like it was clicking.

Everything sounds like it comes on. I'll check the connection and switch today. If that's not it, I'll check the connections at the starter.

On the topic of starters... What's it mean when I push the start button and nothing happens? I absolutely know the batteries are good (I had them charged and tested, both good). I just got the truck all put together after doing a clutch job. Could I have missed something that's causing my...

I got my batteries charged, everything back together, turned the power on, hit the switch and a deafening silence :-x

I'm actually finishing it up today. I have to go get the gear oil and drop the batteries off to get charged. I probably won't get it on the road, but it'll be running again.

What about mounting it backwards in the trailer?

I figure you could run about 75mph with 900's at ~2000rpms.

Would there be anything to gain in effeciency by swapping in a Cummins turbo or something similar? I'm not sure if it'd even be the right size, but I imagine turbo technology has come a long way since the C and D turbos were designed.

That's something I'm starting to wonder about as well. Who can I get insurance through that'll allow me to take a trip to Missouri or Ohio (and etc) if I want and not have to worry if I'm covered or not. What if I want to haul firewood or some scrap metal? What if I want to haul my trail...

Depending on the primer you used, you need to seal it with something. It'll soak up and rain and rust the metal underneath unless it's a sealer/primer.

I probably can't pick it up right away, but curiousity is clawing at me; what's the price?

I opened this thread expecting the worst, but it's not too bad. It actually kind of grows on me the more I look at it. The only critique I have is that it could use some more gray and/or black to break up some of the blue.
