    Sagging CUCV springs

    I don't know how good it is but i added a add-a-leaf on my m1028 front and it made the leafs sit straight. I do need to do something on the rear cause I think the front is sitting higher than the rear.

    I've heard you could remove the injector and put grease or vasoline on your fingertip and pull it out. I've never tried it but it may be worth a try.

    I don't believe the rear needs it but the front does if I read the TM correctly.

    Starting Help

    I've had a problem where after it runs at running temp and then turn it off and sit for a half it won't start. It was because the temp switch for the glow plugs says it is warm enough and would not allow the glow plugs to activate. I rigged a bypass switch to activate the glow plugs manually...

    There are a few fusible links connected to the junction on the driver side firewall.

    24 Volt glow plugs again

    Is the resistor still connected? It might be bad. The resister is the thing in the center of the firewall. It is used to drop the voltage to 12 volts for the glow plugs.

    Check your fuel supply if not that then it may not be cranking fast enough

    10bolt rears for 1008

    U-joints need to be changed on the axle end. If you use the M1008 springs you should be able to bolt it in.
