    Pulling to right after lift

44" tires w/ 4.56 gears is just a little bit better than the M1009 with 31" tires and 3.08 gears but you have about 1000 extra pounds to move.

    Pulling to right after lift

I just had a 2" lift installed on my M1028 and now when I brake it pulls hard to the right. Is this a normal thing with theses Chevys because I remember when I had a 91 Blazer it did the same after a lift. The installs were done by different folks and neither time did I replace the pitman. Is...

    Insurance problems

My first cucv did not have much problem and got it recorded right, the second one came out as a c30 so I had them correct it. Funny thing was the first one was still there and they still had problems with the second one. Wouldn't you think they would just copy the info from the first?

    Dare I ask this?

Funny thing, since this thread started my Gen2 light comes on now when I turn my headlights on and it is not just a glow. I thought the Gen1 is for the 12v application.

    New RIG-M1008

I was watching those and they all went for a very good price. If it was closer to me I would have bought one but 5 hours away is a bit far.

    Dare I ask this?

Mine would have a glow if I have lights and radio on. I think if I have too much voltage drops the lights will start glowing.

    Dare I ask this?

My suggestion would be to have a good battery charger handy just incase it is not charging the batts

    Gearing m1008 axles

If I'm not mistaken the 12-bolt was pre-1980 and the 10-bolt was 1980 on.

    M1028 fuel problems??

Could it be the timing chain? since it connects the IP and controls the valves if it is broken then the ip won't turn and valves wont open. Is there an easy way to check?

    M1028 fuel problems??

There is a wire going to the IP, check for 12v when the ignition is on. Or listen for a click when you turn on the ignition.

    DOT 5? DOT3?

Hi All, Been lurking for a while but my first post. I've been trying to determine exactly what type of brake fluid I have on my CUCV. The tm says Dot 5 so I check my resovoir but the fluid does not match the color (suppose to be purple according to some sources). My CUCV came strait from the...
