    cvc helmet retrofit help

has anyone tried to replace the ends of the cables on the cvc bailout cables for civilian style connectors? That would allow the use of an aviation intercom instead of the five pieces of equipment that it takes to make the vic1 operate. This is more of what I am looking for.

    cvc helmet retrofit help

I am probably going to end up using a aviation intercom inside the truck, but wanted the option to go vehicle to vehicle if some of my buddies wanted to get the same setup. What provides power to the vic 1? Been too long for me and I can't remember. snakeater

    Deuce lockout hubs

    Ever built a "shorty" deuce?

Having just bobbed a deuce I would think it would be an easier project as a whole, but still challenging. You would have to be extra carefull in burning the rivets out of the tandem carriage so that you could move the entire assembly forward on the frame. After that it should be as easy as...

    105 fuel trailer

dot regulates the transportation of fuel on the interstate. I believe that vehicles are allowed to transport either 100 or 150 gallons onboard (semi tractors) before you have an issue with taxing a fuel. I need to read more into it for sure to find out what is actually legal. It may be 150...

    105 fuel trailer

I considered that, but i was more interested in a permenent solution to the refueling. By using a trailer setup, I could go around town here when I am at home and pickup the wmo and have a seperate fueling station persay. Then use it as a tag along on trips. I didn't like the idea of having...

Ok tell me if this is in the wrong place, but it pertains to my deuce, so i put it here. I had an idea today and wanted to run it past you fine gents for raking over the coals.....errr, I mean your opinions. I think it would be possible to outfit a 105 trailer with a storage tank for WMO...

    PA Farmer's Bobbed Deuce

ranchopper.....why couldn't you have posted that a week or two ago when I started bobbing mine????? That is exactly what we did with the exception of using a really big rolling chain hoist. After messing with it for a few hours we finally broke out the wedges and chisels and got everythig...

    Snakeater's deuce

had a minor snag today with the bobber. After finishing up the tailgate, I pulled it out of the shop to sweep the floor and look at it outside for a change. turned the truck around and heard an awfull rasping sound. The exhaust pipe that I neutered a couple days ago apparently was caught...

unclemikey.........I sleep pretty good these days. I simply made my needs clear up front and we came to an agreement on price of the deuce. The guy i purchased mine from isn't trying to make a killing on the military vehicles he sells. I am sure that he makes a profit on them, but not...
