I have an 802A I am working on that will not run the Aux pump. I have replaced the aux pump float, and checked that the pump itself works. I have also replaced the little box with the circuit board in it that is inline after the float. I am running out of ideas. The gen set has an autostart...
Yes, while you replies I was looking into that. The fuel is plumbed in the aux fuel fitting, and the tank is dry. I am guessing it is a transfer pump issue or a float issue. Threw me off because I was not getting a fuel light.

I have an 802A installed at my girlfriends off grid place and has been running fine till today.
It shut down and I went to look at it. It is plumbed to a 500 gal tank with a auto/remote start installed. I noticed that the fuel pump located on the back wall left side is very noisy. It usually...
I installed one of the 100w stick on oil pan heaters on the bottom of one up here in Alaska and it has been doing good starting. Coldest it has been this year so far was -20. Oil pan heater is stuck on bottom of oil pan and 110 extension cord to power it comes in through the output (load) wiring...
OK so here are some updates. First, no more low fuel lights. Second, the generator is sitting outside, but on a platform that is built up on cribbed railroad ties with 2x6 floor joists and sheets of plywood for a floor. It is about 8x8 in size. I think that the stand he built for it is causing...
Gauge. Not a lot of smoke. Unable to load it more. It is connected to an off grid power system and have it set to charge batteries at 100% and 30 amps. Well, maybe I could plug an electric heater in as well

It will run for 2-8 minutes, then shut down with low fuel light. It seems to be vibrating more than normal. Any suggestions? It had new fuel filters. I may try putting new ones in.

I like it a lot. We have two we have installed. One as a remote start, the other as an auto start that is connected to an inverter. Both are working great. Peter was very helpful with any questions during the install.

Problem Solved. First I would like to thank everyone who offered advice and helped me with this issue. Very much appreciated. :goodjob:
After a lot of messing around, and looking at things I found the problem. The wires going to the oil pressure sensor near the dead crank switch had broken...
MEP 802A keeps popping CB1 Breaker **SOLVED** Page 2
I have a 802A that has been running fine. I installed the remote/autostart from Inova Hightech. It has run fine for a few weeks. Last night it ran for 2 hours, then died. When I checked it. CB1 was popped. If I reset CB1, it will crank...
