    Question; spin-on fuel filter mod.

It was on the truck when I got it. I'm not sure where it came from. It has worked well so far. I like the extra out port, this is where I have considered adding a pressure gauge. My next canister (from Napa) due to go in will also have a bottom bleeder for water.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

I run low %s of WMO to offset fuel cost. It is filtered to 5 microns before use and I have never had any problems. Should I ever, the pre filter will clog first due to size and being in front of the main filter. I can remove it from the loop, and bleed much easier vs. pulling the canister on the...

    Question; spin-on fuel filter mod.

I recently installed a clear 10 micron prefilter in front of my canister. I like being able to see the fuel, and it's movement. I may add a pressure gauge in the future. I was asked why I installed the pre-filter- I run low %s of WMO to offset fuel cost. It is filtered to 5 microns before use...

Is this normal...? Replacing Oil Cooler lines...

FWIW I have had my truck over two years. During that time it has never had the engine oil cooler lines installed. The engine and Rad. ports have all been plugged. It's on my list of projects to complete in the future. I have hauled to full gross at 95F or better Amb. with no over heating. I plan...

    Recommend a good CB

http://www.shadowstorm.com/cb/CB_Myths_Exploded.html 15) Old 23 channel CB's get out better than 40 channel CB's. The number of channels has nothing to do with how well the radio will get out. There are some 40 channel CB's that will out perform some 23 channel CBs,and there are some 23...

No place on block for starter bracket

Now that's interesting. So does that leave you with only 2 bolts through the starter only? Is this a 6.2? I have never seen one like this.

    Recommend a good CB

I think they are all right at 4 watts out of the box with more allowed on side band radios. "According the to US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), it is legal to use CB radios for private communication. The FCC, in part 95, subpart D, limits CB radios to 4 watts of power."

I have a Cobra 29, and use a Wilson 1000 antenna with magnetic base. This portable setup has worked well for me between multiple work vehicles.

    37X12.5X16.5 HUMMER Wheels M1008?

Im running factory GM 16.5" 8 lug wheels, that option may be available for the 1009. Keep the wheel assy. weight down where you can, the 6.2 is what it is.
