I just did last weekend and both are at factory standards,(925cca) 12.73v. Its only in the morning during damp or wet mornings (fall here in Maine now 45°-55° in the mornings) starts fine every other time during the day.

The only saw I had was a sawsall (riciporcating saw) so it was hard to make precise cuts. I had to stencil out a piece of sheet metal and tac weld in place then grind the welds to smooth the surfaces of the weld. I then coated the fender well with herculiner. Cut out a rust spot in the front fender patching up with metal sheet. And then hurculining the inside fenders

I'm actually doing it this weekend, just wear some good rubber gloves and a cheap face mask and you'll be fine , I'm doing from the tail gate all the way to the dash . Make sure you clean the surface and tape anything you don't want painted. Let me know how yours turns out! I have a 1009 btw

Well today I had to buy a new rear battery. Had to replace the old military one. Advance auto tested it... Had 7 cranking amps. Now I am getting a Gen 2 light. The truck was converted to 12v by the previous owner. Only using the driver side alternater.
