Got her back from John Winslow a couple of weeks back, and she is looking GOOD. He did a great job.
I posted one pic from retrieval day in SC then the after ones for a comparison
Mine runs really strong on the hills, I can accelerate up to 50 miles an hour in no time going uphill... it sounds like you have another cause, most likely fuel like others have said, usually the culprit is the fuel filter and or old fuel that has been sitting in the tank depending on how long...
Lets see....
Transmission switchover to Dexron III + filters
Engine Oil change and filters
New wipers
Replaced air return line on the power steering
Replaced pipe from Air cleaner to EGR
Blocked off intake to EGR so engine no longer breaths exhaust
Cut EGR tube out of main exhaust

I am 6'4" and have the same issue, when I sit up straight, I am looking straight into the hardtop and the top frame of the windshield. So a little slouching and then I crane my neck down to see the green light when sitting front row, or else its totally blocked.
The deuce is a dream though...

Then I changed the external as well (which yielded about another...
My running temps and warm up characteristics were pretty much the same, sounds like you might have a problem, I am almost certain my trans temp hasn't gone over about 180 deg.
My general goal as to have a 'good' idea on how much and more importantly 'which' way to turn it as it looked like it would require removal of the Genny to be able to access the port (Oil cooler in the way). On closer inspection though I was able to bend a cheap screwdriver to access the port...
I forgot to add, it idles so much smoother as well, kinda funny, maybe less drag on the TC? but it doesn't vibrate at idle as much, an unexpected benefit I will take...
Quite a mission, but nonetheless it is done! I took it for a ride and it wasnt shifting to 4th properly and i thought H*@Y CR*P I am going down the same road as other members with blown transmissions.....
Came back to the shop, checked fluid level and it was about a quart and 1/2 low, topped it...
I am almost certain I know the answer to this but wanted to check 100% before making a mistake.
On my M923-A1 it has the additional spin on transmission oil filter in the engine compartment on the RHS. There is still another filter in the pan, correct?
Thanks for the help.
