Possibly No More Trucks from DLA

Yes they can. Look what California did to owner operators. I have brought this to the staffs attention about maybe a new thread dealing specifically with just that. I was told use this existing thread. My question to members in California is did the new emissions laws that banned pre 2010 class...

Possibly No More Trucks from DLA

I was unaware of this but researched it a little further. Since this is where we maybe heading with our MV's the California law has an interesting exemption which I would think MV's registered Antique would qualify. Please Mods, be gentle..This could be very relevant down the road depending on...

    Runaway multifuel 6/20/14

You most likely dropped a liner. Do a compression test. Here is a picture of the tool you will need. It is an adapter made by Snap On for doing Mack engines.

    Dim brake light.

Try measuring the voltage with a volt meter.

    Drove the Deuce...Some questions

It's not the ebrake. I had already completely removed it. I'm running 9.00-20 NDT's that appear to be in decent condition although I do notice the fronts are cupped. On a side note I had expected this thing to be a gutless dog. It actually pulls quite good for the measly 134 HP it is. I was...

    Drove the Deuce...Some questions

Ok, Thanks for the replies. I can steer it fine. I just wanted to make sure that is normal and there wasn't an underlying issue. My F600 has no power steering either but isn't nearly as bad and running the same size tires although the weight on the front axle in the Deuce is obviously...

    Drove the Deuce...Some questions

I should clarify, whe I say the steering is difficult, on the highway, I can let go of the wheel at 45 mph and the truck drives straight as an arrow. The wheel just feels very heavy.

    Drove the Deuce...Some questions

Also The ebrake shoes are wasted. I have new linings but there is a spring that appears to center the linings when released that is broken ? What is it called and where can I find one.

    Drove the Deuce...Some questions

Finally got it on the road, all registered etc. Put about 100 miles on it. Figured out the lights finally. I wasn't operating them correctly and also found a broken wire on the brake light switch. I re plumbed the switch as it was hitting the drivers side tool box. Some things, possible...
