I got the three dark green straps from Beachwood, They didn't say there were more than one option. I have found out that I have the old style buckles on the trucks original straps, and the Beachwood's are Huckle Buckles. Huckle's would be fine, but these are just to light to use.

Where can I get correct straps for the pioneer rack, and bow hold down. I ordered the strap kit from Beachwood, and the buckles are junk!

Used units are easy to find and are cheep! No need to try fixing your's, it would cost to much in parts alone. In the States, it would be no problem in finding good used units, I don't know about in Germany.

1 Drain the tanks daily! For a new truck (new to you) I would drain the tanks before the trip, and again at your next stop. 2 Water gets in the system and at this time of year can cause freezing, along with other problems.

In my group, No one has had brake problems, I think it has mor to do with Neglect, Lack of use, and using the wrong brake fluid. These Trucks are tough, and very reliable, Most any problem should be minor, and deu to lack of use.

You might want to pick up some Brake Fluid. Use Only Dot 5, Also known as BFS, Silicone base. I found it at Autozone, and NAPA.
