You guys are all missing the point, I can see why everybody is in such a hurry to welcome our newest female member. Two of my favorite hobbies are now in one place....pretty women and MV's. That being said, I can't think of too many of you that would disagree with me about this 2cents
I really don't think you have to worry about that. Gimp my be slow at some things (OK, most things). But TWO things he never misses out on are MV's and pretty girls!!
Also, if WM is right for a change and she isn't a guy in drag (god I hope not....LOL), GIP, you'll need to post up some...
Welcome from another member of the Ohio Delegation. Enjoy the madness and good luck on your future GL adventures. Maybe we'll say "hey" at the GA rally this year?????
Running with a load is exactly what prevents wetstacking. The light load over an extended period of time is what creates that tar like substance (actually unburned fuel and carbon) that will clog exhausts and cause valves to stick open, and eventually burn. Wetstacking can do major damage to...
The load bank is so you can run your generator at full or nearly full rated load for a period of time to prevent wetstacking. You only need to do this about one time per year, depending on how much you use your generator during the year. Also, to perform some of the recommended tests and...
Sweet set-up. I really like mine for pretty much the same reason you mentioned. That little alarm LED is a nice feature. I set mine right at 1200 to come on and 1199 to go off so I only get the alarm just when I get to the max temp I want to run.
Edit;
I have also thought about running an...
You bring up a good point. In the past on various industrial equipment issues I have found that the silver coating is VERY thin and can easily be removed with a file. For cleaning without removing the silver coating, try a plain old greenback (dollar bill). The cotton fabric of the bill is...
So let's recap...the OP has been a member since 11-09....takes almost a year to realize he can't post a classified ad due to not enough posts. And almost another year to rack up a whopping 6 posts. Huh, I would never expect things to change around me with setting a staggering pace like that.
Maybe we should apply for a govt. grant to perform our own studies???
This subject has been asked so many times it's not even funny. Unless you can get the same truck, in the same conditions with the same driver/driving style every time and keep everything exactly the same, it's always going...
It will work, but it won't work right. If you have a box from an 003a, you need to take one of each of the large wires that are going through the CT/CVT assembly and take 2 wraps out of it. That assembly is what gives you the feedback for your % load meter. And since it ties into the voltage...
If you are talking about the output box on the side of the set with the main lugs, yes they do have the same components in them, but they are not exactly the same. If you take off the lower cover you will see the CT/CVT assembly. The MEP-003a has 2 wires with 2 wraps each going through the...
I would start with the K3 relay, make sure it pulls in and make sure you get 24 volts on the main contacts going out to the starter solenoid. Then move to the starter solenoid. It's probably something simple.
