Don't waste your time checking the oil pressure or temperature switch....they are bypassed during starting so they are not the issue. If you can hear the crank relay clicking (K3), but the solenoid is not then you need to check the crank relay or the starter. An easy way is to see if you are...
Thanks for saying what I missed Steve. That's been my stance for the beginning. The trucks were designed to be off road capable vehicles from the beginning with duals. Like I said, singles are better in some instances, but for all around performance, I still think the duals do slightly better.
If they are in the crates still, the crate will be about 7 feet long, probably 3 foot square at the ends and weigh in at about 300 pounds.
Congrats on the tents guys, I was looking hard at them, but I already have 2 of them, and I scored a lot full of stuff in OKC on tuesday that ate up a lot...
Yeah Dan, that was me coming up out of that hole. And to those arborists out there, I just have to say that gimpyrobb loosened the tree up a lot beforeI took it out! rofl
I'm still waiting on someone to have some photos or a video of that mudhold from the nite ride. My headlights and radiator...
I've said it before and I'll say it again....for all around offroad performance I think the duals do just a little better, less ground pressure, wider track. Don't get me wrong, in some cases the singles do better and do have more ground clearance, but for general overall performance I still...
well, he said he painted it 5 or 6 years ago, so how long did he have it before that? The minimum bids weren't always $150 like they are now.
I see no reason why he could not have gotten it for $65. If it was at some obscure location and nobody wanted to go get it, or if there were hundreds...
There must be some discrepancy in the housings or the gaskets...like you said, maybe a different batch, because the ones I got fit great. For future reference you can get the complete correct OEM filter and gasket set from rockauto.com and race-mart.com if you didn't already know.
You guys do know that the NAPA 5131 gasket fits the canister just fine, right? That is the part number for the gasket alone. They can get it for you, although they might not want to, but it is available.
No gimp, it's just a bit North East of Canton...over in my neck of the woods. Probably about an hour and half North of me. If you wanna go, you got a place to park your butt for a night if you need it.
I'm still waiting for someone to post up some pics of our Friday night ride. The ones where my headlights went swimming in the mud hole....LOL
That ride and that hole should have made for some good pics!
Even though I got back yesterday, I waited until this morning to unload. That trip will knock the crap outta ya. I finally got the mulberry wine washed off of the tent, dried in the sun and folded back up and put away. I can't stand to put the tent away wet or damp, even though it is mold and...
He said he shaved the hair on his butt to look like a mohawk!
I'm not gonna look that close to see if he really did or not.
I know some of you are going back right now and looking at that picture...
That was Brandon, Gimp and myself who helped with your starter. Glad to help out and get you going. I assume that it got you back home OK after the rally?
