Don't have a clue....more than you can lift by hand though (unless you're a power lifter)
IIRC, SAE #4 bellhousing. Flywheel bolt pattern is custom to the generator head though.
Got there Thursday with the rest of the Ohio Convoy, stayed until Sunday morning. Another great rally, sure had a blast again this year.
Only brought the m35a2 this year, but had a small host of support equipment...a blood cooler, blood refrigerator and command post tent again.
319, that's a pretty good pic of our little "Haspin Wrench Party".
I wanna thank Doghead, Gimp, Steve, Kip and especially John for jumping in and helping me diagnose and fix my starter problem. It's great to have the extra hands when you need them
It was a pleasure meeting you and your wife. I can't thank you enough for the pull to get me over the crest of that hill by the tent so I could get the truck started. Looking forward to seeing you guys again next year, and doing some more off roading.
The one I use for my house every time the power goes out here was marked as un-serviceable when I picked it up from GL, and has over 3500 hours on it. The only thing that was wrong with it was a broken wire, and it's the better running one of the two I have. Higher hours and unreliability do...
Why is everybody saying to stay away from a generator that will run for 10's of thousands of hours, but only has 6300 on it? With 6300 hours, you know it ran and was used....can you say the same thing about an '84 model with 100 hours on it and never been depot rebuilt??? Lots of sitting...
Great Rally this year again!!!!
I had a blast as usual. Great to see old friends again and meet some new ones. Brandon, it was good to see some more of the southern steelsoldiers at Haspin. I hope you can make it back next year and bring an MV along.
I hope everybody makes it back safe and...
Great pics everybody. I wish I had a camera with me, but I was too busy being stupid and following gimp pretty much wherever he went. If he can do it, so can I....um...sometimes!
Pulling out of here real soon to meet up with the peanut gallery (Kip, Buff, Brett, John and Julie, Mike and the rest of the Thompson Convoy). I'll see ya'll this afternoon
ARE YOU KIDDING?????????? I'll be convoying out there with the peanut gallery, why would I want more?
Anyway, I thought I would leave the peanuts up to Doc again
Got the truck all packed up with the big stuff from the garage, and only need to throw the personal items in tomorrow morning. I'll be pulling out of here around 08:30 or so to meet up with the Thompson clan around 11:00 on the far side of Columbus.
Yeah, you can't use the frequency meter as an indicator of the speed, unless you are absolutely sure it's in good working order.
As to the start switch, when you are in start mode, the battery voltage is put to the generator head through the DC bridge board to "flash" the field of the head...
The fuel solenoid doesn't care whether you are in run or start, they are both the same. When you are holding it in start position, the low oil pressure safety switch is bypassed as well as the high temperature safety switch. One of them is probably shutting you down, it could be something more...
Speaking of tires...
They are not military tires, but if anybody needs some GOOD passenger car tires I have 4 like new ones I'll part with.
They are size 205/70-R15 80,000 mile touring tires. I had just bought them for my work car and hit a deer 2 weeks later, it totaled the car. But I was...
