First off, yes it should run without the batteries connected. Secondly, NEVER disconnect the batteries while the set is running. The surge you created when you disconnected the batts, could fry the voltage regulator, and/or any of the DC components what are powered at the time of...
OK, it's about time all you guys stop this thread. I have to go to Kips place this weekend to help him out with a little project, and there is no way me, his project and his swelled head are gonna fit into that barn!!!!!!!!!! rofl
I can't speak for the other posters here, but I was not slamming "Hammer" at all about searching. I was simply pointing out that the subject had been covered before (I knew this to be true because I'm one of the people who posted the information), and posted the search terms I used to find it.
Nice fix. That's been a problem for several members on the board. Someone a while back did almost the exact thing you just posted. Basically, the spring arms are thin and flimsy to say the least. Improper adjustment before you got the set must have bent the springs away. Setting the gap...
Sounds like quite a weekend. Kip is ok for a poor white boy, but you have got to stay on him about working, or he'll just stop and start posing for goofy pictures for no reason :cookoo:. Just ask Doghead
That subject has been covered here on SS several times, I've thrown the number out there for people at least half a dozen times that I can think of. I know the search feature here on the site sucks, but it is out there.
I used "Charging MEP-003a" in the search box and this was the second...
I don't know of anybody going on Wednesday; but Myself (hopefully), the entire Thompson clan, and several other members are meeting up on Thursday Morning and heading out.
I got notified for Jury Duty yesterday myself. I have to appear on July 2nd. I don't have a problem serving, but I'm gonna make sure they know I have a vacation planned for that weekend. If they really want me to serve, they will just have to make it for later.
I guess I should have mentioned something along those lines huh...LOL
The item is small, compact pick-up would haul it easily...or a car if they don't demand that you take the pallet that it is sitting on.
Storage isn't an issue, I would have it shipped if who ever does the pick-up doesn't mind.
I'm looking for a member near Ft. Lewis Washington who can offer assistance with a possible pick-up. If anybody out there can help out please PM me...I'll share details of the "operation" then, since it's still an ongoing sale. Thanks
Yes it is a 12 lead head since the TM says you can get 120/208 or 240/416 out of it. But at 60 KW, that is one big honking generator....I hope you have a large load for it. Since it is liquid cooled "wet-stacking" is going to be a very real and major concern with it.
Good luck on your project and keep us informed on the progress.
Also, before a mod or somebody else sees and complains to you, add your location to your profile...something more than United States. It is in the rules of the site.
