I don't know which TM's you have but my -24 TM has them listed plain as the nose on your face...LOL
Figure 26 of the -24 TM, Item #'s 27 and 28

Some of the quotes I can think of during the drunken peanut fight...
Doghead...Ah, the dreaded 1 - 10 split
Kip...Stop, I'm gonna pee myself
Buff to Julie...When you've got 2 nuts in your mouth, it'll make you choke
Westy...screw those Germans, they think they's so hot after they bombed...
Just so you are clear on the subject...your initial question tells me you are uncertain of the proper operation. The frequency of your generator has absolutely nothing to do with your voltage regulator. The frequency is strictly depentent on engine speed, so if the frequency is off, but you...
Great pics....but how did you get Kip or Lane to pose in that funny hat in the back of the CUCV???????? You got some cool pics of Chris and Lane unloading my light kits from Lane's CUCV into Stretches trailer too.
hdmax, it was great meeting you as well. You and your son will have an...
I just got back to work a few hours ago from the 2011 Findlay show. What a blast!!!!!
They had a ton of cool vehicles, re-enactors, vendors and ton's of good deals on parts and all kind of stuff. I know this thread is worthless without pics, but I was having too much fun to take pics. Of...
Don't think just because we're gonna have to do some creative packing with them, that I still don't want to play with at least one of them. After all, I've "owned" them for almost a yeah and 1/2 and haven't even laid eyes on them yet :jumpin: [thumbzup] :jumpin: [thumbzup] :jumpin: [thumbzup]...
I'm bringing Kip, Gimp and Stretch's M108...LOL Between Kip and Gimpy, one of them will get them back to Kips farm...I'll have to get them home from there after that. I have to work this weekend, but I'm taking Friday night off so I can get to go look around and see everybody. I have to leave...
It may very well run on it, but most of us here don't want to try it. The generator typically is used for back-up emergency power. Do you really wanna be the one to find out that the WMO gums up your IP or some other component and makes a back-up piece of equipment useless as a back-up?
Just saw a post from member Krall in the thread Findlay Parts (follow the link)...going to be at the Findlay Ohio show...he say's he is going to be bringing a bunch of MKT vinyl...might want to talk to him before this weekend.
If you haven't already done so, get in touch with Mike...SS member SCSG-G4. I would say he's probably the resident expert on the MKT here on the forum. And he seems to know where all the parts for them are located.
The control panel you have pictured must be for the shelter, because I know the generator control panel looks a lot different than what you have pictured. Someone here did a thread about building his own control panel here a while ago (his 903 came minus the panel), and I helped him find a lot...
The piece of hose in picture #1 for the air intake is actually a heavy piece of rubber hose kind of like a sandblasting hose. Obviously it doesn't need to be that heavy duty, but it does have to be re-enforced so it does not collapse from the air suction.
The piece of hose in picture #2 is...
You can't really trust the panel volt meter at all, they are not terribly accurate. There is a procedure in the TM to test the charging circuit to make sure you are getting the full 6.5 amp charge. But I would guess that your voltage regulator is probably going south on you. I have one that...
good deal!! The fuel pump in question is probably good, I would remove the capacitor from it and see if it works or not. Probably will work just fine. The capacitor isn't really necessary on the fuel pumps anyway.
Does that particular generator have a fuel pump or is it gravity fed?? Something is making the DC breaker trip, and that in turn makes the fuel shut-off solenoid drop out (The part you hold to make it run if the DC breaker is tripped). It sounds like the generator portion is working fine, you...
