I tagged Bert, now I need a tag light.

I like it as well. It almost looks as though it is suppose to be that way. I would like one of those lights, but the money is not there right now. That is why I am trying to find a way to do this with out spending money.

Man I like that set up. It looks nice and clean. I may have to borrow that idea when I tag the 87 deuce I plan to keep.

I tagged Bert, now I need a tag light.

I think I have an extra 24V buld, I just have to find it and make sure it fits my light assembly. If so all I have to do is find a way to mount it with out making it look all rigged up.

I tagged Bert, now I need a tag light.

I just assumed this state requires them. Most of the LEO's out here have been tought so many different ways to enforce the law I figured I would just play it safe and install one.

Sounds good. I will dig out the light bracket I came across the other day and find a 24V bild to fit it.

I tagged Bert, now I need a tag light.

I was wondering if it was that simple. It sounded almost too easy to me.

I tagged Bert, now I need a tag light.

We were able to tag and insure Bert. I used an old bracket from god only knows where that I think my dad had lying around long before I had it lying around. So now the challenge is I have to install a tag light. I would really like to avoid a citation. Because money is so tight I would like to...

    Sometimes I like being wrong

I just finished Bert and took the old fella out for a drive. The truck drives great amd goes through the gears like a new truck. I feel very foolish now telling people it has a prblem, but that does not matter now. I am going to try and enjoy the truck as much as I can before it gets a new home.

    Sometimes I like being wrong

I just re-installed the fneder in the cold rain. I had to replace almost all of the fastners because I left them out to get rusted up. A lot of them I just rethreded instead. I only have one thing left to do but I want to wait until day light tomorrow for that. This trucks looks much nicer now...

Thoughts and opinions on turning up the fuel on a deuce

I will try it on my stock one first. I have all kinds of plans for my other one. I hope the addition of an intercooler will help it.

Thoughts and opinions on turning up the fuel on a deuce

That does sound like a big difference. I think I will try it, but I do not want to turn it up much. I have one duece with stock tires and one with bigger. So I will try it on the deuce with larger than stock tires first.

Thoughts and opinions on turning up the fuel on a deuce

That is one of those tricks I wish I had known sooner. Thanks! If I do pump it up a bit, I was going to stay at half a turn. Is that too much?

There is a lot of good adive there. I can care less for the enviro-nazis. I just do not like wasting fuel.

Thoughts and opinions on turning up the fuel on a deuce

That is one of the questions I am addressing now. I do not think I need this mod right now. Maybe later down the road when I start driving and towing with these trucks. But for the little driving I do now, I thinking them alone is a good idea. Also, the blowing of black smoke in my mind is...

Thoughts and opinions on turning up the fuel on a deuce

Future plans to include a pyrometer but for now I want to see what it will do if I go mild on it.

Thoughts and opinions on turning up the fuel on a deuce

I just read a how to article on turning up the fuel on a deuce injection pump. What kind of real gains are there if I do that? Also, are there any adverse effects? Have any of you done it and if so what kind of difference does it make. I searched for a thread on this subject but the information...
