It's not exactly what you asked, but you have some kind of draw on your batteries that drained them. The voltage regulator or the capacitor in the charging circuit is more than likely the culprit. Get rid of the draw and you'll have charged batteries when you need them. Also, when you run it...
Jim,
would you happen to have a pair of them. I took it apart to try to secure the door a little bit better. Long story short, the pin snapped off of the other hinge and I had to butcher it a little to get it apart. I made it so it's semi-salvagable and will get me to GA and probably back...
I'm sorry, I forgot all about your problem. I've been getting ready for the GA rally for the last couple weeks and it just slipped my mind
I'll definitely look it up when I get time.
That's why you collect money up front ( I would say the $15 plus maybe $5 for a flat rate envelope to cover shipping) and then there is no getting stuck for money.
If I miss out, I'll be placing an order!!
PB, what about taking orders at the rally and having them sent out after the rally (for those who want one and might not be one of the first 50). That way nobody is stuck with extra shirts since you can order an exact amount for the orders you have??????
From the pics you posted all I see missing right off hand is the air intake tube from the shutter box to the air cleaner. Really, unless you use the little shutter on the back of the air filter housing for cold weather running, that is not even necessary. What else are you missing? And why...
I am really in need of a door hinge. Mine broke not long ago and it even sheered off the bolt going through the hinge...I have to be careful with the door or it will go flopping around.
I got it from Auber Instruments in Georgia. On the page I linked, the last display on that page and the first thermocouple right below it are the two I got. They are working perfectly and for less then $100 for the pair, it's hard to beat.
If you are using it for arc suppression, then you really should be using an MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor). A diode is a crude way to get it done, but an MOV is made for that kind of application. Typically you'll see them paralleled with a relay coil or paralleled with relay contacts (especially...
Here is a little sketch of a typical diode on top and the electrical symbol on the bottom.
Power always flows from the anode to the cathode. I don't know what the situation is that you are using this for or the circuit it's in, but if you have a 12 positive hooked up to the anode, power will...
Is it just an optical delusion, or do I still see a slight bend in that drive shaft in pic #7  ??? Was that thing forklifted from a GL lot or something????
Looking good Clint, I like the mods...classy
