It may always be a good idea when possible to use a 3/4 inch playwood square under the stand, it digs in real well and there is no sliding to worry about, but very good post, there is absolutly never a reason to just use a jack without any safty measure, [thumbzup]

yes they are I just spoke with a guy who knew alot about manufaturers and dates of deuces, he really new his stuff.But... could not help me , because i lost the title from a fire dept and the vin plate is gone , I am in the market for a title for a deuce and/or 5 ton or even a 97 form, if anyone...

yea there are 2 other greases here,both have the 3 letters but different, the special one that was only used on the wheel bearings of there M1A1 and another, i will look it up since I happen to have some...

just an fyi, i have been running for 30 years, and unless they are dryrotted and dried out they willl perform just fine, and as for uncle sam doing it for the last 80 years, there has never been a rash of tire failure because they work, it is up to U, and your opinion also, but most will run...

I will say that GAA is used on everything here at the facility here, and the wheel bearing grease for the M1 Abrams was the only different grease they stock, but now that the M1's are gone the grease is too, FYI I have 5 gals of GAA for 25 bucks and 5 gal pails of 10wt motor oil for 20 here in...
