On my rotors the center of the (domed) caliper piston is NOT solid. I learned this the hard way when using a C-clamp to compress them. They look terrible but work just fine. There is a drain plug on the bottom of the tank. It should be obvious once you look for it. Warning: drain plugs become brittle with age. You will almost certainly have to replace it. Bulldogger

Looks good. Mine rusted similarly and I used an exhaust coupling as a donor part to weld on and around the old seam. Held for a couple years until I replaced the powertrain. BDGR

They insured/insure my HMMWV no problem but I have heard, or seem to recall having heard, they won't accept any new applications. I could tell you where I heard that, I may be misremembering. Can't hurt to try calling and asking, their rates are great. BDGR
