I've seen batteries that failed within a few months of purchase. They will show a full charge, but have little capacity left.
The fact that the OP keeps his on a charger when not in use doesn't rule out the possibility of a failed battery, but it would mean they pretty much always show higher...
As Mogman said, checking for voltage at the ign terminal should tell you whether it's getting the signal to produce power or not. If it is and still not producing power, then I'd worry about further troubleshooting of the alt.
Because it's intermittent, then it's 98% likely it's a failed...
Sounds like the start box is failing and needs repaired/replaced.
The alternator has zero control over the glow plug operation
Alternator won't start until it gets a signal from the start box
60 amp alternator is considered a major downgrade. If you are going to do anything, it would probably...
if you are putting 3 of them on a 3 phase generator then you should be able to put one on each leg to balance it out, provided they don't mind voltage being a little under 240
edit: looks like they can take a very wide range of voltage, so I don't see it being an issue.
The kit part number you listed updates to the one I listed, so yes, that is the correct part number.
If you need the spring with the kit it is different for each side, but same overall cost from the above site
(in other words, there are 3 kits for rebuilding the rear calipers, one specific to...
Got a model and serial number? There are different kits for pre and post 300XXX serial numbers.
Here's the kit for pre 300XXX serial numbers

Here is how it looks jumping from 2 12V jump packs.
Replace one of them with the jumper cables from the 12V vehicle.
2 12V batteries, each one gets a 12V source.
That being said, you need to put a multimeter on the batteries and see what they are actually doing while you are cranking. If...
Finally got around to doing the front side markers into turn signals.
List of parts
14ga military prestolite wire
2 Packard "Y" connectors
2 packard female connectors
8 packard male connectors
2 24V relays with wiring harness
(I actually found some Y connectors on ebay with a male-male wire...
HP-2 series trailer, can't tell the exact set up.
HDT Global acquired DHS Technologies back in 2015.
While I don't know what the exact version you have there is, they do list several models on their website.

I don't know if they have released any...
The valve to turn on the heater core flow is notorious for failing on the newer trucks with the electronic valve.
Most reliable repair is to replace the electronic valve with the manual one from the older trucks. Follow the coolant lines from the engine back into the firewall on the passenger...
I would say it depends on the charger, as the battery pack should be able to take whatever amount of power that the generator can provide in bulk charge mode. The only real difference should be how many hours you have to run the generator overall.
Posted a July rally for this year at my place in McCleary, WA.
Details over at the event thread.

Message me for the actual address if you are planning to show up. It's at my place, so I'd rather not just post the address in public.
Last year didn't have a lot of people at it, but it was a different weekend and different location, so not too surprised.
This year will do the same location...
So to update slightly, I did end up buying some used fire hose, 1.5" diameter, to cover the slave cables. Tried 1", but the 1/0 gauge cables were too tight of a fit, even using some tire bead lubricant to make it slick.
This is for the smaller cable I have, I believe the larger one is 2/0...
Belts with coggs are designed to flex a little easier than non-cogged, so it doesn't really make a difference either way.
7440 and 15440 are basically identical sizes from what I see, so either should work.
Belt sizing is confusing but apparently the two belts are 15/32" and 7/16" top width.
Any vehicle with a particulate filter needs some method to do regeneration burns, which pretty much requires computer controls.
These trucks don't have computer controls for their engines/emissions.
