Return lines headaches.
Here's the POOP from my experience on the fancy, green or black, no clips, slip on, with a woven outer jacket, general web sites kits or bulk lengths. At first this magic hose seemed to work (but I had my doubts) Give it a year or two and the leaks will show up. The...
When one get tired of banging on the controller and not a simple fix...couple that to not fond of a computer / timer taking over your HMMWV experience... here's a proven, off the shelf, no hack, option right here on this post.
Grap an adult beverage and watch the original "CAMOBOX" in action...
Definitely a positive visual aid to... is there or is there not power to the plugs. Do you trust the computer to do its thing on a 30 year old truck ???
Miss seeing the light and 45 seconds later...Time to buy glow plugs.
Here's the inside of a customers controller. States trouble starting...
Thanks for the correction. (y)
Well...I had that wrong. 🚫 When I was messing with the steering I just follow the TM and can't remember pulling those joints. I do remember a TM statement as to the position of the spokes.
Doesn't matter I guess...as long as it steers between the lines 🛣, CAMO
I don't think you get a choice. The splines allow only one fit up. Pretty much the same thru-out all the u-joint connections right out to the pitman arm. TM states spoke down centered with equal turns to the left stop and same to the right stop at hub stop bolts. Wonkie part is the proper...
Yes... Check out his thread. Look at all the others posted too... around that thread. Pay close attention to details.
Here to answer questions one might have on start boxes. Other experts here too.
There are other choices to manage HumV electrical start / glow issues.
Just PM me to...
For the hobbiest... not much if any real world use IMO... Cup holder, ash tray, secret hide de hole, bomb bay door, LOL.
A real use for a real pressure transducer is what I did years ago. See pictures and decide if its for you. Good to know fuel pressure (4 PSI or more) when trouble shooting...
Wasn't looking go to the wall on wiring, but to point out wiring unique to HMMWV that one may run into. Here we GOoo, Not sure... Break out the TM's
I agree with you TOO.
With a electronics back ground, is that one or two words... LOL I am careful to identify what are grounds and as to the...
It's always good to have feedback and all...
The after glow programming may have been to reduce burnt fuel or emissions control or just to smooth out a real cold start. Getting a double stack with the ON time is chance to waste a plug or two or eight. I have watch a ton of videos. Some...
STOP calling it a ground. LOL... Last time I say this... HMMWV's..., All the electric business has it OWN negative return lead back to the battery negative. Look over the schematic and one will see what I speak of. NO currents flow thru the frame, body or what you had going on in the 57...
This is the CAMOBOX story.... as told by CAMO.
IMO... In my studies... There is a lot of BS over the years surrounding smart boxes. Some features might make sense and some a government sales point. In either case, a lot have been sold for replacements. Think...$485 dollar hammers or $1000...
Direct link. HTTPS://camoteksystems.com or search Utube Camoteksystems for video. Some have copied CAMOBOX. This is the original now direct from Https://CAMOTEKSYSTEMS.COM
Camo is VERY busy and will have all the sites linking VERY soon. CAMO
However hard it is to get at, it needs inspecting and better to remove and clean it up. Gauge panel comes out, dog house off or help from the engine compartment. It is a convenient (at manufacture ??) tie point, bringing negative returns back to the batteries negative.
If that connection...
Not the site police... But I think you're gambling to get tossed too. Wait a bit and GP will have them available 75K. As for a cocktail, a double screw driver and I am disabled. Build it out of plywood.. cheaper.
At parade speeds no body will notice, CAMO
