    UK APC's/Tanks (FV432/CVRT) in States

Licensing a track vehicle for road use in the US depends upon the state. Some you can, some you can't. I have known collectors in Kentucky, Texas, Kansas, and Florida that have done so, but know nothing about any other states.

    Nuke trucks?

Those were Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles (IRBM) not ICBM. We never had truck-mobile ICBMs.

    Jack Littlefield Armor Auction

His collection has been purchased by the Collins Foundation and they are going to auction the items they do not want. They are reportedly moving 160+ vehicles to MA, selling the rest. Too bad they chose Mecum over more reputable houses.

    New V-100

Now here is a good pull: Smart car with a Sherman Easy-Eight Actually we pushed with the Pinzgauer but it works great. The front hitch on a Pinz is real handy. Now the Smart car, who would have thought?:tank:

    New V-100

We've towed with our M710 Pinzgauer lots of times. They roll pretty easy. Stopping is another matter.

    Removed

Federal Law only permits a vehicle to be 8ft. 6in wide. The only exceptions are farm and construction equipment like cranes. That would prevent an OT-90 for sure. Then the state laws would likely prevent it due to steel tracks. I am not aware of any rubber padded track ever made for the OT-90 or...

How do I get rid of canvas mildew smell?

White vinegar and water mix works great and does not leave any odor behind. Have used it on WWII tents for years.

IRACinc already does an awesome Mk-19 and M-2HB. A M-134 is tougher than most realize. Good luck with it.

    SR71 Blackbird

I might add, some of you are confusing the SR-71 Blackbird with the A-12 Oxcart. Of course similar, but indeed different planes with different missions and characteristics as well as history. Much of the A-12 program remains classified.

    SR71 Blackbird

It is an A-12 on display at headquarters and it is certainly still there, as of last month.

    V100 mods

Indeed, hard to find for sure. We paid $12K for a transfer case years ago from Jamaica and were glad to pay that. Luckily they are overbuilt.

    Steyr Puch/ MB G-wagon 230GE?

They are extremely durable and off-road capable; well up to the task of being a military vehicle. For civilians, they are underpowered compared to their civy counterparts but not under military conditions. Like a Pinzgauer in that respect. Parts are very expensive but readily available. They are...

    Purchasing a M113 APC?

Not only did it have a gas engine but it was not armored. It was just a transport variant. The value would depend on paperwork, variant, condition and would range from $30K to over $80K. An Italian-contract variant in excellent condition sold two years ago for $130K in MI. The former DuPont...
