    Good tank news for NE

The article is misleading, but considering the communist rag that it is, no surprise. Part of the collection will be going elsewhere on the East Coast and part will be sold off.

    Abbot Tank In Canada

You would need an approved BATF Form 6. The barrel would have to be demilled to US specs, or maybe not permitted for import at all.

    Vietnamese Propaganda film

The tire size is 14.00x20 so lots of options. The original Commando tires, however, have been out of production for years and hard to find. We use Michelins and Goodyears instead but NDT are also all over.

    Vietnamese Propaganda film

It was not a propaganda film, only an army news report about the decision to modify their current issue V-100s with a number of upgrades. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNAcKgUmgkc

    UK APC's/Tanks (FV432/CVRT) in States

There must be proper permits for the export- country where purchased- and import- US BATF forms. These are two different hurdles and are not related. Each country has its own export requirements; exporting from the UK is totally different than France for example. I have and maintain a federal...

    New Ferret owner

Looks like you are doing well. I had two Mk 2/3 Ferrets. They were a lot of fun. Just watch your fingers around the hatches. Especially with the kids; hatches should be LOCKED, either open or closed.

    Run-flat tires for armored car

The standard issue Dunlop tires on Ferrets serve as run-flats. In fact, a delated Dunlop- which I have experienced- makes the Ferret simply harder to steer and far from flat. These are tough military-grade tires. No real need for anything more.

The Ekranoplane cannot "fly" over land so there would be no way to get one to an airshow.

Advice on getting a wheeled armored vehicle

No matter what you buy, it is going to be a compromise. That's life. For first time armor, given all the factors- cost, availability, parts, fun, cool factor, etc.- it's hard to beat a Ferret. They all hold value, so you can always get your money back. while everyone wants a Mk. 2/3 with the...

    UK APC's/Tanks (FV432/CVRT) in States

Dave is correct on all counts. Your statements are contradictory however. First, you state you are going to import, then sell. Then you say not. I'm confused.
