For those who have antique or historical insurance coverage even if they don't have any limits on mileage isn't there restrictions as to what you can do with your truck with historical/antique tags?
I spent yesterday searching past threads on insurance for a deuce. I currently have farm plates on mine but don't want the restrictions, I want to drive it whenever and wherever I want, even if I don't use it for commercial hauling. I have Americal Family and they currently cover it the way...
I was just at a big Interstate shop last week and they said they can only sell them to the military, however a friend of mine who works at a shop that deals Interstate batteries said he can get them for me but they are expensive! Just go get a couple 850 cca or bigger automotive batteries...
Give Randy a call, he'll help you out. I've got them on a deuce and had them on my mud truck, 725 HP with 57" tractor tires with no issues. Your problem is probably something minor.
So if I want to sell a deuce that has never been titled yet would I be able to get the paperwork done in the individuals name who is buying the truck thus keeping my name out of it?
That sunshine will probably melt the snow we got last night  Let me know when you need it ready to go. Just in case you forgot what it looked like...

Thanks for that picture, that explains where that angle came from. So is everyone with aftermarket rims that are straight cut tapered just using the stock lug nuts? Anyone have any problems with them not staying tight?
Bring them to a tire shop . I have mounted 44 inch off-road tires before by myself with no special tool, I tried mounting my 14.5 R20's by myself and after about an hour of sweating, swearing and throwing things I gave up and brought them to a shop right by my house. Those sidewalls are...
See I've heard 82 degrees too and I guess I can't figure out where that measurement (angle) would be. 50 degrees sounds right. I've got plenty of stock deuce lug nuts but I was just wondering if they will work right with aftermarket rims if the taper on the rim is flat and the lug nut has a...
Glad this thread resurfaced, I have a couple trucks that have tachs that are not working and I was wondering if there is a common place to start. I think I'll start with the motor end of the cable
