I was going to write; Check trouble shooting (pg 2-11) and regulator test and adjustment (pg 6-8 )both in TM 5-6115-584-34. Isaac, do you mean one of the variable resistors on the VR board? I never did have to adjust one, is it R-17, the TM says R-15, not sure myself.
I was surprised the electrician used wire nuts, but he said it was fine. He was there to wire a garage sub panel (that had a permit pulled and had to be inspected) and he seems to know the code pretty well.
To OP of this thread, did you check out MEP-003 hook up sticky in aux equipment forum...
The ground from your 8/4 goes to ground lug on generator. Did not follow all of question 2, but ground from 8/4 goes from gen ground lug to ground inlet in the 4 prong plug you have set up for interlock. The 4 prong plug is hooked to panel the same way you would hook up any 240V plug.
When I...
As has been said before, you probably need to get an electrician in for at least a consultation. I know it costs, but you sound a little in over your head, and even if you get great generator and hook up advice here, no one can see if you missed something. An 003 makes enough juice to kill...
I added a CUCV muffler on my best 002 with ASK, and it is pretty quiet. The ASK does a pretty good job with the mechanical noise, but the little MEP muffler needs the extra help to bring exhaust noise down.
Unit is one on right.
I believe the 16E is a 16B repowered with yanmar or similar, so your 16B manual should help with the electrical side, except the manual is not totally accurate. To test if neutral mod was done, and it does not have a green sticker, switch to 240 1 Phase, test between LO and L1 and L0 and L2...
I got a 1008 from GL, former Maryland NG, in 2009 that had its resistor bypassed and removed. Also had a red painted air cleaner and a bunch of Edelbrock stickers in engine compartment. Higher miles (68,000) than any other CUCV I've gotten from GL, but it is a nice running truck with newer IP...
If you don't know title history, it may be a stolen truck. That's one of the main reasons for titles, that and collecting fees. If for some reason you have legitimate reason to re attach vin plate in this state, such as cab transplant, the plate installation has to be inspected and signed off...
That, although I am no expert, would be fraud. If you ever were found out, you could loose the vehicle and everything you put into it, as well as legal consequences. If you are tempted to go that route anyway, I suggest you do not post about it here.
I am not an expert, but I have bought and sold a lot of trucks in this state. No title no sale is good general rule. If you are hoping for exception, it depends on title status of vehicle. If it was last registered in NH for instance, and owner has old NH registration, it could be no problem...
Here is manual for PTO driven 12.5KW Lima Mac from 1031. Its principal of operation is probably similar. Hope it helps.
It is supposed to be self exited. The diodes can get fried, but are replaceable. There are flashing instructions in manual as well.
Back to the original question about the 004s, saw that too. One could speculate haz mat exposure, ufos, or someone who lost their paperwork. A lot of listings on auction sites do not make sense.
As Marcus said, never use old torque converter with toasted tranny, even if it is still good, it is not new, and it will have parts of the old tranny in it.
