Yeah, there's a drain on the batteries somewhere. Mine went dead and even killed one battery .
I added a way to charge them independently (with an external charger so as not to have to fun the fan 24/7). And next I want to add a disconnect so I can isolate them from the vampiric drain.
I'm aware of the rule
My question is why is a new member singled out when a veteran member in the same thread is give a pass?
I don't see any explanation of THAT in the forum rules....
I was trying to be subtle bout it.
:/
Oh, I get it. I've had both A0 and A1R.
But the A1R literally has no cab suspension. No airbag, no shock, no nothing due to the anticipated armor upgrade.
I'm always looking at mods as a result...
I considered putting an entire A0 air ride system on my truck, but it's just more stuff to fail.
Ah, OK. I must have missed that part. Because I often see users with just the state. There's a few in this thread. Just wondering who was being singled out. Wasn't sure if it was only a rule for new members.
My first truck had a Gen1 and it was adequate at best, but that was w/o any insulation. The fellow who purchased the truck from me had it recharged and said that it worked multitudes better so I suspect it was a bit low on juice. But if I were to install an OEM unit, I would lean towards the...
I'm hoping that they have a crane and that's just being store in that configuration to save space.
Perhaps they plan to do a proper build with the two parts.
What is that truck, btw?
I've been eyeballing server rack batteries as well (only because they are the only lithiums of this scale I've ever had hands-on experience with). My current house batteries are lead acid and and sit in the truck battery box. (which sorta works but it couldn't be a a longer run to my...
I know they come on the A1R, not sure if the A1's had that kickplate.
Not a common item (and you'd likely get wallet raped if anyone had one for sale).
Super simple to fab, though. Sheet metal shop can slap a couple bends into a piece of sheet metal, cut a hole and tack on a piece of tubing...
They do have a different bezel design and clip. I think both are 22x33, though.
A & B is just the distinction between normal and the communist format.
;)
I think the forum locks out PM's until you have been a posting member for some time or number of posts. It's not behind the paywall but is linked to membership time or post count or something, if I recall.
