We call it "the bunker".
They are down there staying safe until the radiation levels outside die down enough to return to the surface so we an repopulate the Earth.
I'm planning out my external lighting. Camp lights, cab lights, fog lights, search lights, etc.
I was just gonna toss together a control panel for the cab and one for the hab. Most functions will be just simple on/off w/relay, but a couple (like the pan/tilt for the cameras/searchlights)...
I'm certain your assumption is correct, but he has not posted a pic of the alt placard/model number.
Are you confirming that that regulator he pictured is not used on any other Neuhoff dual voltage alt?
Sean Fulner runs the one out of the HMMWV in his LMTV. They pop up on GP from time-to-time but can get into bid wars that push them into the stupid category.
They can also be sourced civilian. Also would need bracket and pulley...
33K BTU , 24v, industrial setup right here.
You'd need pully and compressor bracket (both can be found on eBay as well).
So the question is can you find the pulley and bracket for under $2500? LOL

Yeah, if that's the case I've seen it installed in several trucks.
He asked if it would work and we really need to know the alternator model number to confirm for certain.
What is the model number on the ID plate?
Should be like N1602-1 or N1257 etc.
That's a dual voltage alt, but how many amps output?
You showed a pic of the regulator.
Yeah, he did a sweet dash layout. You'll note that he did retain the OEM switch, though.
Originally I did consider deleting the OEM switch and adding a standard automotive headlight pull switch just for the basics. A few people have done it on these trucks (and in a couple cases only...
Someone may know, I'm sure.
Might peel back the loom and see if you can make out the aluminum tags. If we know the wire numbers, it should be simple to trace.
For the cab latch leak:
Might try and contact Scott DeWitt. He moved and sold most of his LMTV stuff, but he still lists the cab latch seal kit for sale. But again, get ahold of him to confirm. His old shop used to be here but he moved to NM. I thought he was getting out of the business...
small leak in roof most likely from turret cover seal
Can also be the marker lights.
driver side hydro cylinder bypassed (I assume these are just used for compressing suspension for air travel)
Delete 'em.
cab lock will not engage (engaged when I first got it but now red plunger will not...
I'd suggest changing to dual batteries and worry about an alt swap if it ever fails. While the 260a alt isn't really a very practical swap (it would be very involved and the 260a dual voltage Neihoff is $$$$$) a HD commercial 200a 24v can be had somewhat reasonably. Slap on a 12v step down...
