Our experience, unloaded, is we always run out of traction before power. I don't recall a time power was even a consideration. Without lockers we must keep everything on the ground, old school off roading. With a bread basket locker I'd think EcoHubs are just what you need—
When you flip the power switch on the dash one of the protocols, like the inlet heater activating then going off (when it is warm), is the ABS computer checking all four (on an M1078/9) relays. You can hear them click: front, rear, front, rear. If the controller is dead or not powered, no clicks—

We have front and rear lockers in our Wrangler and have only used them while 'wheeling' with others. Hauling our offroad trailer to boondocking sites we are in 4wheel high and some times 4wheel low, though we have never needed the lockers on the way in or out pulling the trailer.

I think the pivots are good. Though other than rocking the cab about and watching how it raises and lowers I haven't inspected them—
1— Shackles, front and rear, are in a recovery gear bag;
2— Replaced cab air bags with NOS months ago.
