Yes thats supposed to happen. If you put it in mode then in drive, press arrow down until 1 1 is displayed then you will be in low range. Its a very low gear. See if it works.
I know the wtec3 does an "impedance sense" of the solenoid coils across the wire harness. Not sure if the wtec2 does as much. Does the truck go into low range and drive like that?
The applied units that I have seen all have a Perkins engine. My Drash has an Isuzu. None of the electric heaters generate much heat in this style unit. If you have it piped to a tent and its recirculating the same heated air it works ok for what it is. If the designers really cared about heat...

Ok. The gett gens are Applied. Drash is hdt. I got the hvac manual from Applied. They said they didnt have the gen manual. I prefer the Drash gens they have really good support too. The Applied ones can be had for alot less than the Drash.
I have the hvac manual I need the gen manual. Use sheet metal size adapters so you can use what mil ducting you can find even if the size is not an exact match.
