Its variable. Retracts to start then moves to adjust fuel rate. So you probably have a regulation issue. I would check all the connections in the box. Check the connections on the back of the led display they just push in. Check the manual voltage adjust knob does it feel right? Chances are its...
One of them fancy ones that just sold out in NM? Those were clean looking trucks. Post a pic so I can see exactly which ones you are missing and I can look up the part number. I think they are standard turbo clamps.
Dont believe the display does rpms. Maybe tap off the governor module. Pull the fuel solenoid out the engine will run at full rpms. I have done it and it does not seem to over rev.
I have a pair of big industrial 3 phase heaters they are supposed to be 15kw draw each. The two of them running together show around 30% draw on a mep006a. Unless you have a lot of equipment to run or a 3-phase load bank its hard to load them up.
You can run 3 phase equipment and tap off the 2x 120 volt legs for single phase use. Unless you plan on using at least 40kw worth of 3 phase power on a regular basis then the generator is just too big. They need to be run at capacity and it will just damage the gen using it for small loads all...
Behind the front grill to the left a bit is a check valve. Allows air in from the front red gladhand to charge the air system. 90% of the check valves are rusty so when you put air in, the check valve won't close properly and when you do get the truck running you can build air it all escapes out...
I think if you put a bed and some other living quarters items in it and tell them it's a camper I don't see why DMV wouldn't let you register it that way.
That truck, titled and in good mechanical condition would bring around 22-26K if you waited for the right buyer. In 3 months if a ton of van trucks get released for auction the price will come down. Titling it as a camper would be a plus for resale.
There isnt one on the passenger side. Cant have much there the winch cable runs along the frame out a few inches. Thats why the fuel tank has a notch at the back bottom.
