Out of curiosity do you need a 803 or would a 802 be enough? Gotta load them up pretty good to get the engines hot.

Show the back of the pump...impeller side. You could have gotten a reverse serpentine belt pump. Hmmv used a serpentine belt not v belts and the pump was different. The catalog might say it fits but it won't. I've used a flow cooler water pumps on mine.

I use dexron 3 a bunch too...there is specific power steering fluid that is thicker that might take more abuse for the bigger tires. But if it's making noise now it might not do anything.
Tough call with tires that big. Pump could've been on the way out then a touch of air from the new line pushed it over the edge. Possibly try some good hydraulic fluid change?

From what I can hear, it does sound like the pump is struggling. Could be air, or there's to much load on it from turning the tires without moving forward at the same time. Not sure the width of tire or type, but some can have pretty good grab sitting on pavement. If you have air in the system...
Trucks are that simple. You might want to check the 24 volt relay under the dash. Those like to go bad. You can jump the starter at that relay too. Just use a decent size wire...and yes if you unplug the ip power it will shut off.

You can look up gm part numbers in the tm and Google search it. You can find nos parts in old gm boxes pretty cheap. Ebay has a bunch of parts with no idea what they fit...makes for a cheaper build with good gm parts. I'd avoid any gm part in a new gm box unless you buy it at a dealer. To many...
Ok...you need to put 12 volts to the ip connector...that'll turn on the fuel then jump it like you normally do. You won't have lights etc but it'll run as long as you keep power to the ip. It'll get you home to figure out
You'll be able to put the key to on and turn the wheel.

High probability you got the wrong lift pump. The pump arm has to be the same as the old one. There's 2 designs. Ones bent...ones straight. I use these pumps off ebay...but if you can't get these where you're at at least you have the correct part number to cross with.

Sounds like the glows are working, but got an air leak now. I put clear fuel line on the return output on top of the ip. You'll be able to see the air bubbles going through it if there is. Oh and just because you replaced a part last year doesn't mean they're working now. I use as many nos...
My experience with an old fuel filter. My son bought a 1009 last year...dragged it out of the woods. Sat since 96. When I pulled the fuel filter off the mount it still had clean red diesel in it. That being said it depends on how long yours sat plus if it had bio diesel in it. That can mold up...
Here's pics of one of mine. I had the original spots then put a 320 shelter in the back so had to lower it an inch. You can find the mounts on ebay pretty easy. There was a bunch on nos surplus for a while. I bought several. The guard can be harder to find but not impossible. Keep a lookout on...
