I temporarily blocked off the front emergency gladhand. Used a piece of plastic and put the cover on. Still leaks slightly but not much. Was going to work on that issue but then noticed the whole no parking brake thing and that too precedence. I don't think air could feed back thru the emergency...
Im lucky I noticed it. Was a non runner came caged so I had it chocked. Got it running nice and then noticed the caging bolts hanging loose. Took a second of head scratching and looking in the cab at the dash valve to figure out what was going on.
Plenty of vehicles out there with non compliant vin numbers. The only way to really know is to read all the statutes over. You might find something in there you can bring up to them.
Its an odd one. And honestly the brake system is not my specialty. 1998 M1088 tractor. Air blows out the front emergency gladhand, builds proper pressure with the offending gladhand blocked off. Was going to work on that issue eventually. Brake pedal/treadle works properly truck stops when pedal...
The throttle cables are known for being sticky. Sometimes it's improper placement. You want nice curves nothing tight or it will bind. I reposition them often. I have used air to force wd40 thru also. The way the cable sits where it connects in the cab, leaks over the window lights over time can...
The real ones are expensive because they are scarce and in demand. Someone with a plasma table could knock them out cheap. 1/4 aluminum or even steel would work just fine.
I think it would be easier to cut round piece of 1/4 sheet aluminum. Cheaper to make. Shipping sucks on them due to length the ground shippers have big up charges even though it's only a 2 inch thick box it's 47 inches by 47 inches.
I have swapped pumps without issue. I had to bleed out a tire lift cyl once took the line off. You could have some air in there. Make sure you didnt accidentally switch the 2 hyd lines. You can take off the pump return line and put it to a container see if you can use the pump to purge the system.
Bad hub seal. Fill air pressure diluted by hub seal leak so wheel valves see low pressure and are tricked into dumping. Unplug controller till you do hub seals.
Air leak on the fill not enough to trigger a fault. System does its check and sends air to fill but a leak somewhere dilutes the air pressure so the wheel valves only see around 20psi which tricks them into dumping air. Did you hear any siren like whine sound?
