I found a 16 x 16 foot tarp that covers the trailer perfectly until I get my travel covers back from the repair shop (getting the rubber strips reattached and the canvas TM pocket replaced).

For what it is worth, I used a 16 x 16 vinyl tarp to cover my MKT. It is about the same size as the travel covers once it is centered (although I pulled it lower in the back to fit behind the gas can mounts). It will be my default cover and temporary travel cover as I wait for mine to get back...

What is wrong with the axle besides rust? Is it too deep? Depending on how bad the trailer bottom is, there are a few places that sell them reproduced. Are you restoring it or just freshening it up? If your not worried about restoration perfect, and if the floor is bad and needs to go, try...

Thanks all for the help everyone. I was able to find a piece of 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 .120 wall lying around. Although the original mount was only 1 1/2 high, 2 1/2 inch fits so I was able to create the new piece. Turned out pretty good and only someone with knowledge on these things will be able to...

I recently recovered one in really good shape. Only thing missing is the latch for the manhole cover. Looking at the TM it appears to be a small square of steel bolted to the tank with two hood latches on either side. Does anyone know the dimensions of this block or can share close up pictures...
