I've probably done a dozen of these and I used off the shelf Milton fittings. The -P tech manual should have a description of the item, it may show the thread pitch. I can't remember if they were course or fine.
Come down next weekend and I'll see if I have an extra laying around rofl
If you're talking about the valve under the glove box on the passenger side, you just need a female thread NPT female air fitting. I can't remember if it's 1/4" or 3/8" but I think it's 1/4".
You have it correct. Side A faces the bearings, side B faces the outside.
Bearing preload: I know the TM's call for the method they do, but once you've done enough bearings there's a "feel" to it. Not too loose, not too tight. Most people err on the side of too tight, which is worse. I'd...
1. That's the right way to use the site-find the thread you need and bump it for clarification.
2. That's correct-I use a 50/50 mix of coolant, distilled water and then I add the SCA's.
So has anyone spoken to neilhendrix? Is he coming this year? No joke, we've got to get him to show up, he's going to flip out when he see how much it's grown.
The only way to move the pedals in the way you're describing would be to lengthen the clutch and brake pedal arms that the pedals attach to. Then you'd drill new holes in the floor for them to come through. You would then have to do the math and figure out how much free play was supposed to be...
You're right-I just called and the 4800 part # was $27.22 my cost and the local distribution center had 2.

Obviously that's the 3 pronged civvy connector, but that's...
As the others said, Napa can get them.
I have a distributor account with Napa and my cost was over $100 each.
I understand being in a hurry but Napa will have to special order them and you'll have to monkey with the wiring connectors.
Best bet is to buy the right ones (with packards) on...
Unbolt the lunette from this and drive your truck to Northern tool. Find lunette that fits (by walking out in the parking lot and testing it), buy it, swap it, etc.
Or do what NDT said.
I am too tired to go outside and look at mine but I can direct you to a super nifty schematic:

Define "late model"-because what's pictured is the correct military 60A unit. Your truck might have originally had...
There are 3 pedal mounting assemblies:
M44/M44A1 & M44A2 w/ single circuit brakes (i.e. 1986 and older)
1987-1989 M44A2 USAF contract: This allows for the clutch pedal (and winch PTO shift lever mounting)
M44A3. The M44A3 mount does not have provisions for the clutch pedal (which CBR...
