Might be painted over. In theory it's 60 amps at 26-28 volts under the worst conditions. Back in the 70s that was a decent amount of power. Not really by today's standards though.
Yup the manual does say 55psi for highway. I think some of the mrap controllers are programmed for a bit higher pressure and they are cross compatible.
Same thing here. Bid on stuff auctions ended. In my bid history it showed I was high bidder on the ended lots and then a bit later the auctions were back up for another day. Quite unprofessional.
Other than some 5 ton tarp sets I haven't seen much coming thru the auctions. I think a lot of the 4x4 tarp kits have come with surplussed trucks. I think the big resellers order the kits new.
Lots of bad connections on these trucks due to non mil spec connectors and low quality electrical parts. They throw all that money at a cat engine, allison trans and axletech axles and then cheap out on the little stuff that brings it all together. The small relays go bad over time. 2008 sounds...
I know someone else with intermittent no charge issues on a late model A1. I would at least temporarily run a replacement regulator lead. See what happens. In theory you could set the truck up like a first gen with no charge relays. Don't know if the data bus would know and error somewhere though.
