Interesting. I dont think there is a hyd cooler on the wrecker body. I have ran mine for 6 hours straight really loading the heck out of it. Maybe the hot sun beating down on the tank got the fluid really hot and system friction really got it up there. If there was pressure built up in the...
If you are sliding on a sheet of ice the brakes still work fine the tires wont be spinning with brakes applied but you will still be sliding on the ice.
No. If you take off the passenger foot kick panel the pneumatic valve body is behind that. Sometimes the connector contacts get dirty and need to be cleaned or re seated. Also there is an air switch right side of the 3 tanks that tells the ctis system when the air reaches around 120psi. If that...
In my opinion, the Goodyear mvts are better than the Michelins. I don't like how the Michelin sidewalks are wavy. Now I am slightly biased from the older style Michelin xl on the m939 trucks with singles. Those are all old and blowouts just waiting to happen. The lmtv Michelins have not, that I...
Run flats although they add significant weight to the wheels would help in a blowout situation. The blowout corner would still drop a few inches and cause veer. Running properly infkated, newer dated tires and inspecting them regularly is good practice. I have seen a lot of surplus trucks that...
Yup looks the same. I got mine running a few days ago. One inj pump was stuck from sitting for many years. Got it out, soaked in in break free gun lube and it freed up. Fired right up once I put it all back together. If you hook up your fuel lines and take the fuel solenoid out the rack should...
If there is no 12 volt the truck wont work. 24 volts on the 12 volt side will trip breakers and cause damage. Something is wired wrong. There are 2 24 volt leads one direct to the starter one to the protective box under the spare tire then going into the cab to the panel. 12 volt lead comes from...
Possibly batteries wired wrong. 24 volts on the 12 volt side is probably causing your issues. Don't run the truck until it's resolved. Battery diagram should be on the inside of the batt box cover. Then make sure someone didn't switch the 12 and 24 volt outputs at the alternator. Seen that...
4 inches should be fine you are still using the original headlight bucket. You can connect the 3 mil leads then plug the h4 bulb in if its too tight to get your hand in there.
Use the thick o rings. You will want to clean the rim parts where they mate. Any rust or corrosion can be lightly sanded and primed. I use rtv in addition to the o ring when putting rims back together to ensure a good airtight seal. And I wait 24hrs to inflate. It is in the tm but not always as...
I have the 3 piece regulator kits for the non lcd display model. Regulator transformer and potentiometer. I always wondered why the regulator for this model comes with the 3 parts as opposed to all the other gens that the regulator is by itself.
No none of the 3 phase only TQ gens can be converted to single phase. They are all 10 wire heads. The older style gens with 12 wire head can in theory be converted to single phase. That being said if you need 3 phase power they are nice gens, The 60k has a John Deere straight 6.

330hp is top of the range for the 3126. Reserved for emergency vehicles and alike that need short runs of high hp. You may be able to turn the power up aftermarket but it's not advisable on these motors.
Yes either one is fine. To get 24 volts you put two 12 volt batteries in series. The truck originally had 2 pairs each in series then paired together in parallel for double the current.
